Rea claims both wins as Zanetti takes first victory

The first Italian round of the year in 2014 was heavily attended by the fans, who packed the Imola’s Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari and welcomed the WorldSBK stars already on Thursday, for a very “typical Italian” Media Event.

The Italian crowd was waiting for their home riders to shine on Imola’s iconic track, but the party was spoiled by Pata Honda’s Jonathan Rea, who dominated the weekend by taking Pole Position and claiming the win in both race 1 and race 2.

Lorenzo Zanetti claimed his first WSS win, while Jezek and Faccani were victorious in the STK1000 and STK600 classes.
